Daisies

“Look at the size of these daisies, they’re giant!”

She smacks one

Quickly bounces back

Her face its flexing dares to slap right back

Her brilliance is her knack

I laugh

Prepared for her attack

Green Blue Gem

We’re caught looking up

At the proud eternal sky

How unevenly it’s hazed

How the clouds just pass us by

Never knew there was such depth

In fleece

Atop a world they lie

With peace

They may change but they’ll never die

They cover the sun

And reveal it again

To light up the day

Never knowing quite when

They exist to change and change to live

Hurray!!

Forever they will play

Proudly above our green blue gem

Above the beauty which we walk upon

With every step we boldly take

This beauty fact

Not at all opinion

With all things viewed

In their own dominion

And all true beauty judged

By how much it’s worldly lacked

While your own judgment remains intact

For if beauty is rare

And rare is beautiful

There’s one half pair

Who needs you dutiful

For seldom greater cause is there

Than a one in a billion green-blue gem

A world we give our loving care

And leave tings as we found them

It’s not my job

Nor mine

I know

But all of ours

Friend or foe

If we waste

And waste and waste this gem

When we’re done

We’re done

With no place left to go

Are we unaware of this crime

Just as so many parts of ourselves

Yes our minds keep secrets

From even us

But listen close before you raise a fuss

Because that’s the way it’s always been

With some things better left within

Like some mysteries left to win

Over the fools trapped in the chase

With curiosities they can’t erase

Still…

We can never know it all

So kiss that thought goodbye

But I don’t think that’s the point

No matter how hard some try

Because if we should

We would

And if not bet there’s a reason why

“Do you think there will ever be a perfect world?”

So…

Can I tell everyone to love

This gem?

Of all the dreams dreamt of

Again

Within us the power to love and hate

Make life long friend or deadly foe

And easy to relax and take

The first new concept

Your old thoughts break

And hard to truly judge

What kind of future will make

A decision quickly pounced upon

Out of aggression fear or hate

If what’s brought forth

As new

Goes unquestioned

Unchallenged

Unjudged by a neutral you

As will that uncontrolled trait

If in the wrong mind-state

You take the bait

You find

All else out there you’ll never know

You saw the preview but missed the show

Is there hope

Yeah

A one in a billion chance

When each person will realize

At once that it starts with them

And a one in a billion never-ending dance

Is born

Right here on this green-blue gem

You’re not asked to be all-knowing

You’re not asked to be wiser than all

But no doubt be fully aware

Of something we will call

An eternal ordered pair

Our wisdom and our ignorance

Both balanced on a ball

Two worlds which our minds share

Two worlds in every one of us

Surprising? – don’t despair

All wisdom can’t exist itself

Views different every one

And pure ignorance persist?

You’re not

A hot rock in the sun

But riding a scale from side to side

Doubt you’ll ever be done

Could that be what makes it so fun?

But always remember to second guess

Worse than a hot rock

A much bigger mess

You think you know

But you’ve got the wrong one

Find this happen and surely you’ll run

As we run

Do you follow?

This path we trace

Now leading to a magic place

At our very day and time

For it goes untouched by people

As if it were a crime

To trample here

And stomple there

Not cops but flowers

Enforce it clear

With one drop love and one drop tear

And it works on all who care to care

All those we can’t condemn

With whom we have to share

This miraculous green-blue gem

Not another in our site

This hidden garden’s secrecy

Its might

And life, and peace, and love

Its power

In every leaf and every flower

And balance

Its true lone earthly savior

Between each and its surroundings

Going about their own behavior

Each one as he conceives

And no one pays the price

For what someone else believes

Instead their ideas will blend and fade

Each one’s are still their own

If they could speak

I’m sure they’d say

In of course an earthly tone

Sure you’re free

To think like me

Or any other known

But forced to think like someone else

Never should you condone

Wonder how to stop this crime

Search no further than your own

free thought

it’s our gem, leave it alone

Energy

Why energy?

There’s energy in everything

It’s in all we see

All we do

In both of us

And all of you

Of life’s forces it is king

Where does it come from?

What is it for?

Why can’t we see it?

And where is there more

Many truths I’ve searched and found

Through painful journeys, endless tasks

Past logic’s leaping bound

Far past

Oh knowledge knows its masks

Too well

And we continue still to hound

Answers dug up and dusted off

Like fossils from the ground

But what if an unbiased mind

Took a thousand looks around

Saw energy in every form

For rationality, although the norm

Can be a limit like a blind

…With energy first spoke to her

With energy I smiled

With energy she took my hand

And turned the cold air mild

The energy that made the rain

Bow

Down to an earthly show

Even though we don’t know how

With energy I wrote this book

With energy inside

With energy you read it now

As it’s games flow through your mind

…and the smallest particle of energy

deep within each of us

wills with all of itself to multiply

to expand itself from the floor to the sky

believe it and it is no lie

Energy is positive

Positive better than negative of course

Not just because there’s more of this special force

Still every other

Negatives brother

Ever bore

Turns positive and thus none other

Than that particle in your core

This energy creates itself

With our occasional help

But less make more

And a lot turn less

Although too clear to see

Common sense would never guess

How energy creates itself

And creates more energy

If you can’t see it that’s okay

It’s waiting, growing, preparing

To energize your lovely life

The only question is…

today?

Quit smoking, and enjoy rainbows instead

But the rainbow plays without such rules

Unreal itself – saves many duels

It’s seen here too, as green blends blue

Perfect interaction

With no dividing line

Reach out my hand, and just say it’s mine

As the tree slowly becomes from sky

Without ever asking why

Or why not

The sea

Just follows its path to harmony

Standing there lone on a beach

Tired

Laid back

Just a tad bit mellow

These two have been together

Too long for any hello

Green exit a trend

As the scene turns pale yellow

Like a dried out desert

Endless from start

Soon a fresh lemon all sour and tart

Increasing brightness

Till brighter than day

And it so vividly stands out

Notice me, I shout – he says

Pick me from this pile

Put me in that plastic bag

And squeeze me in a while

for a while

Give me a taste and make a face

My job’s done put me to waste

Like the sun that once glared

On a long descending path

Exhausted and outflared

Changed color as you stared

Now a big orange ball wedged up in the sky

It slowly sinks because it can’t fly

Dips down into another land

And try you grasp it in your hand?

Like that cigarette…

The way you hold that little sunset

But better than a thousand fake

One real commitment make

To watch her set in all her glory

She blows her flames for you

You and not only you

So why your eyes say disbelief?

Appreciation is no thief

For as much as yours

It’s mine as well

And a billion others wherever they dwell

That’s the true power that none can sell

And no one could put out

See the difference

See the truth

Just smile and put it out

Rain poem

And then all of a sudden DROP

it’s started…

oh don’t be broken hearted

and don’t list me absurd

drop…pop…pop

though far too many to count

not one would go unheard

as the drops of life greet the leaves of hope

with their journey near its end

without a single word to speak

encourage the leaves to bend

to break their fall too close to call

the first one set a trend

by now, she’s part of life itself

and her friends mid-air

can’t help but stare

in awe for what she’s done

and all that she’s begun

look at all that she’s become

Purpose

Everything and everyone has a purpose, potentially.  That some have not found theirs does not mean they don’t have one.  That some believe they found theirs does not mean they are correct, or that their purpose is good.  And for some, their purpose is to find their purpose.

My purpose – to explain the truth.
